Will I need planning permission before installing my new fence?

The height of your new fence will dictate whether you need planning permission. Fortunately, you will only require planning if your fence is more than 2m high so that most fencing installations can be completed without permission.

Do I need a fence?

Installing a fence around your property can provide much-needed privacy and protection from passers-by.
It can also boost your property value, protect children from running into busy roads by mistake and will clearly define your property’s boundaries.

What is the difference between security and decorative fencing?

The primary aim of security fencing is to keep intruders out and block sightlines. Decorative fencing will also provide privacy but is designed to add visual and kerb appeal to a property.

Is your fencing environmentally friendly?

Yes, we use sustainable materials where possible and all old fencing materials are recycled to divert them from landfill.

Security fencing Reigate

Fence looks great. The work was done efficiently despite the rain. The guy who put it up was very friendly and very knowledgeable of his craft. I would reccomend Surrey Fencing to anyone looking to having some work done. After having a quotes from 2 other companies Surrey fencing was also the best priced and the work is perfect.

Entire garden was fenced

Thank you very much to Chris and Aiden for all the hard work they did at my property. I had approximately 140 feet of new fencing complete with concrete posts and gravel boards and new decking laid. Chris and Aiden arrived at the times they said they would and worked extremely hard and to a high standard, all rubbish was cleared when the work was completed. My garden was a mess before and now its such a pleasure to sit out there admiring the work and I've had so many compliments from family, friends and neighbours and would highly recommend Chris and Aiden to everyone.

New fencing and decking.

Chris and his colleague built our fence at the end of November. He was professional and thorough, taking his time to make sure the fence was built properly. When the work was completed our garden was cleaned well and all the debris removed. Chris was friendly and polite and took the time to answer our questions. Chris knows his stuff and I would not hesitate to hire him again. We are very happy with the work he did and would recommend 100% to anyone.

New rear fence.

They responded at a very busy time, so that was very good. In my opinion, the attachment of the arris rail brackets looks a bit slapdash, but maybe difficult on an old fence, and they were rushed off their feet. I've marked courtesy down to 3, not because they were rude at all (they were fine), but because I asked for a quote for some other work at the same time, but have never received it. I accepted that I'd have to wait for two or three weeks because they were very busy (it was in the middle of the storms). They took all the measurements, wrote it all down - but then I never heard from them.
